IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! to be or not to be listed to be or not to be listed, that is the question at this time the decision is mine went to pulmonary today--6 min walk, pft--the works was able to do 6 min walk on room air, but o2 sats were in low 90's took a few minutes for blood pressure to come down afterward was very out of breath after 6 min walk, even though o2 went back up while standing still, was eager to put cannula back on -- first time I felt like that after 6 min walk most of pft results were in red for now doc increased prednisone to 40 to see if lungs are responsive call her in 2 weeks then she will wean me down again might put me on another drug with the prednisone the docs say i can be listed whenever i am ready catch 22--the darn insurance !#$% & * --probably need to wait until jan 1st, since current, more expensive plan is not accepted by provider difficult decision last week, i had a tooth ache, dentist said root canal, went the same day, tooth felt better it was an easy decision to make there is no pain with this stupid disease made a list of quality of life issues pay closer attention to oximeter -- need higher level of o2 when active -- c4 thanks for listening, writing is a good form of therapy and or decision making Pink Joyce IPF 3/06 Pennsylvania Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
