Oh hang in there Pink...things do seem to have a way of working themselves out. I pray for you....

MamaSher, age 70. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!

to be or not to be listed

to be or not to be listed, that is the question

at this time the decision is mine

went to pulmonary today--6 min walk, pft--the works

was able to do 6 min walk on room air, but o2 sats were in low 90's

took a few minutes for blood pressure to come down afterward

was very out of breath after 6 min walk, even though o2 went back up while standing still, was eager to put cannula back on -- first time I felt like that after 6 min walk

most of pft results were in red

for now doc increased prednisone to 40 to see if lungs are responsive

call her in 2 weeks

then she will wean me down again

might put me on another drug with the prednisone

the docs say i can be listed whenever i am ready

catch 22--the darn insurance !#$% & * --probably need to wait until jan 1st, since current, more expensive plan is not accepted by provider

difficult decision

last week, i had a tooth ache, dentist said root canal, went the same day, tooth felt better

it was an easy decision to make

there is no pain with this stupid disease

made a list of quality of life issues

pay closer attention to oximeter -- need higher level of o2 when active -- c4

thanks for listening, writing is a good form of therapy and or decision making
