Guest guest
Hi, I'm sorry to hear your doctors have not been helpful with your older children. there is a group callded. Olderplage - OlderPlag/ Your daughter is at a great age, so don't worry about her being the most severe. You certainly have plenty of time to round out her head. Where are you located? Maybe someone in this group can recommend a band friendly doctor. You can also contact offices near you that make helmets (also called bands) and see if they can recommend a doctor they work with. you can look at cranial tech (maker or DOCband) - http://cranialtech.com/ClinicLocations/index.html or orthomerica which makes STARbands - http://orthomerica.com/technology/scan_locations.htm (this is only the location that use their starscanner technology, but other orthos will also use starbands with plaster casts). There are orther providers too (Hanger included) but I don't know how to find their locations :-) You'll get lots of support here. take care, -christine mom to sydney / 10 mo /starband grad. > > I have three children ages 4, 2 and 3 mos. Guest guest
--- Hi, I am also from the Pittsburgh area, my dd Jenna sees Dr. Jiang at Childrens Hospital he is the one that diagnosed her with the plagio and tort. She has a starband through Union Orthotics on Libery Avenue. If you want to e-mail me directly I can give you those phone numbers. There is also a Doc band location in Cleveland Ohio I don't know if you are wanting to drive that far. If I can be helpful in any way or if you have questions please let me know. Jenna has been in the starband now for 9 weeks and has had amazing progress.
