Guest guest
Have to admit last week when seeing the saw bones and his scales said I was one pound larger? well that scared me that to day would be the first weigh in day where I would gain pounds and not drop them. so acting as a scared pig would knowing the killing blow was soon coming, increased my no where ride from 2 hours a day to 30 minutes extra and then on top of that spent more time just walking around through the house during the day. spending more time up right and not in a chair relaxing. It payed off! 2 weeks ago I weighed in at 287.5 and to day it said 284. not going to argue with the lady at all! had all ready made my mind up last night to weigh 3 times and take the average weight for the one I would go with. afraid now if I stepped back on she would know what my plan was and lie again. so we go with the 284 and 3.5 lost in 2 weeks we can live with. more is always better, but I got to learn how not to be so greedy. 33 total lost in 3.5 months. sugars are running in the 90's pretty much and very few 80's. allergies kicking my pig butt at tis time, but we simply can't expect a perfect day every day! next weigh in day will be Saturday the 30'th of June of this fine year. Guest guest
Mark, with your excellent blood sugar readings and more than adequate exercise regime, I would suggest downplaying your weight loss efforts. Not to discourage you or say you shouldn't keep striving for weight reduction, but only to say not to make it your chief end. In time, and it may take a good while, your weight will be where it should be. As I think you mentioned one time, you're now replacing fat with muscle, so all your exercise is in fact doing what exercise is ultimately meant to. This being, to strengthen and build muscle tissue, which in turn burns up calories faster and more efficiently than fat. Guest guest
I know you are right my fine Sir Dave, but the bottom line is us pigs wish more then ever to be no longer a fat pig. it is going to take much longer then I hoped and I won't give up. it is going to come off in time. took me piles of years to put it on and maybe I will live long enough to remove it? only God knows for sure and he isn't telling how long. to day is weigh in day for the pig. Guest guest
Think of those NFL linemen who weigh-in in the 300 plus range. It aint fat tipping the scales! Do what you need to do, Mark, but all I'm saying is, don't get discouraged if the pounds don't fly away. I'm just sayin...
