Guest guest Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 OK, so yesterday my brother woke up at 3AM with a fever of 100.01, it then rose to 100.04. I gave him some alieve, we got the fever down, called his doctor office and they ran some blood work.We got the blood work results back (of course they came back when I wasn't home so I didn't get them all) but my brother total bili came back at 25. He has been feeling "fine". A little anti-social but fine, considering-he has been stressed with all this waiting and anticipation that Medicare takes effect next week.Well his doctor is not real thrilled with the bili count-it is the highest it has ever been. He is wanting to do an ERCP (knowing that the last ERCP done in Feb. 2005 he told us that stenting was no longer an option do to scarring). I just don't know what to think of the latest bili lvl. I really wish I had the other blood results-when I talked to the nurse this morning, she didn't have his chart just orders to get an ERCP schedule that his doc has his chart....Do I worry, I don't know I ARGGGGGGGGGGAny one have a total bili of 25 and be for the most part fully functioning.
