Guest guest
I don't know of any reason why quitting urso suddenly would be dangerous, but I do know that back when I was traveling for business, I'd often get feeling pretty bad... nauseated, tired etc. I think in my case it was because of the strange schedules combined with the extra stress. Another possible cause is that he has bacterial cholangitis. I know when I get that, it's usually that I've gotten run down (like from traveling), or have been sick with something else (like a cold) that has weakened my resistance. If that's the case, he needs some antibiotics. In the future he may want to take some antibiotics along with him on trips... my doctor has me keep a bottle of Cipro, and I take it with me now when I go anywhere. Hope he gets to feeling better! athan

Guest guest
Hi Leah I do hope Robbie got home alright and is feeling better, you would have been very upset that he was feeling miserable and being so far away from home. I am sorry that you and Robbie are still struggling with PSC. I feel very inadequate in that I cannot help with your problems, you have certainly been 'thrown in the deep end' with PSC. Best wishes
Guest guest
Hi, Leah. Quite a few people have posted about the discomfort they get when they are dehydrated. I know when I travel dehydration is often a problem. Maybe Robbie would feel better if he made a real effort to stay hydrated? best of luck, Nina
Guest guest
i'd be careful about stopping urso for more than a couple days. i stopped once and on the third and fourth day after stopping i had the most persistent upper right quadrant pains that i had ever had. once i started taking urso again it went away quickly. i doubt everyone would experience the same response but i'd be quick to restart urso if you start experiencing pain a couple days later.
