Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s many health problems. This must be so very hard on the both of you. Has anyone spoken to you & your husband about angioplasty or a coronary artery bypass? If not, a visit to a really good cardiologist might be in order. You also might want to try to send his tests and labs to another transplant hospital. Each transplant hospital is different and there are some who will agree to do high risk cases. Ask the doctor you trust the most and see if they will look into it for you. Sadly, if his CAD is severe, than he probably won’t qualify for a transplant anywhere. If as you say, it turns out he is terminal, I would suggest you talk to your doctor about getting Hospice care for your husband. They are truly a wonderful organization and they can offer both of you, any and all kinds of help, either in your home or at one of their many hospice hospitals. They will be there by your side every step of the way and they can explain everything that will take place.
