Guest guest Posted February 18, 2008 Report Share Posted February 18, 2008 Hi, I just found out that I am about 5-6 weeks pregnant with my third child! I have a couple issues to ask you about. First, my V is irritated and burning more (like it usually is right before my period). My doc will not allow me to use estradiol and I am not taking any drugs. I do apply olive oil, but it only helps so much. Any suggestions for pregnancy? Secondly, I guess this is more of a talking this out than a question. But I wasn't aware that I was pregnant when I took Doxycycline (antibiotic) for 2 weeks, underwent a bowel prep ("go lytely") and colonoscopy (fentanyl and versed), took an abundant amount of meds for the flu I had last week, and stood in front of an x-ray holding my daughter when she got pneumonia (I did have a protective vest on, but still). And right before the cycle I got pregnant, I had that laparoscopy and they cut out intestinal adhesions and some benign cysts from my uterus and ovaries. I cried so much when I realized I was pregnant because I feel like I've just bombarded this poor baby with all these bad things. The doctor isn't overly anxious, but that's not his nature and what's he going to do anyway? What's done is done. Please pray for my baby to be strong and healthy!!!
