Tiffney

Thank God for you.

The most glorious thing in the world is yours.

I envy women for this reason.

I have NF2 and when my daughter was pregnant we mentioned this to her

doctor.

This daughter shows no signs of NF2 and my grandson who is now 3 shows no

signs.

I am so very happy for your family Tiffney.

Jess, I too am to start Byetta. I am also somewhat scared. I am waiting on

C-peptide test to come back tomake sure I am not late onset type 1. I have heard

lots of great things about it.

insulin resistance? My doc

recently informed me that I am no longer making amalin (sp?) so now my

body doesn't know what to do w/ the insulin I'm injecting and he

precribed Byetta, 5 mcg before breakfast (I work at night so I can't

do nightime shots of it cuza the predicted nausea). My numbers have

been all over the board since diagnosis as well. I know diabetes is

one of many issues you have to deal with, but I was wondering if

you're taking anything that's supposed to help with the insulin

resistance. I haven't tried the Byetta yet - I'm a little scared...I

was reading the insert and it flat out says type 1's are not to take

it! Aaaah! Also I'm doing an internal cleanse right now so I want to

wait till I'm done with that before I start something else. Anyway,

thanks a bunch - hope to hear back from you soon! PS how are the boys?

-Jess

I have been type I diabetic for 32 years and have NEVER had any

normal readings. Mine usually shuffle from 30 to 600. I am diagnosed

as Type I insulin dependent insulin resistant brittle diabetic.

Hi

I was talking with Rhonda Kotarinos yesterday and explained my whole saga with being incorrectly diagnosed with a bv infection and then getting a yeast infection due to the antibiotic that I received.

She told me she sees this alot in the patients she treats and that she said the nerve endings get injured, now I am concerned what if I happen to get another? how do you prevent this whole scenario from

happening again?? I never had any infections before all this started now I am worried about getting another.
