Ucp...not thrilled ...arc is almost an hour from our home...but I use them for camp and respite. I will try ymca. Thanks! Have not tried that one. Its horrible and traumatic to bus our kids to other sites...there are more and more kids being diagnosed w autism and more and more clusters popping up. What does the school system expect for parents to do??? Most of us spend every last cent on services and do not have the luxury of a private babysitter. This seems like a huge problem. I was appalled that at the UCP they had all exceptionalites and all ages up to 22 ys old in the SAME class...no wonder my 9 year old is stressed out and crying. Please refer to the list of providers funded by Children's Services Council (CSC) for out of school time programs (after care, non-school days and summer) on the CSC website (www.cscbroward.org) under funded programs...MOST. Kids from Broward are welcome but pay more.
