That was great advise you gave Tery, I think it will really help with the

problem. I always made my children do for themselves, sometimes yelling

gets you nowhere. I have no regrets that I made them help out and this was

before the RA days.

Thanks . Yelling only gives me a sore throat! My mom never raised her

voice and I guess that is where I get it from.

Who knows what is going on in the mind of a 5 year old?

All I know is that it is NOT a behavior problem and punishing

could make things worse. The hardest thing I have done in my

life is raise 2 children while feeling like poop. There are days I locked

myself in my room so that I wouldn't take things out on them.

If anything, they are more compassionate than most, and very self

sufficient.
