I have a desk job and I probably could have gone back after 4 months but I didn't want to push it too much since the doctors wanted me to take the whole 6 months off. They would have been happy to sign off on that last month but I really wanted to get back to work. I don't know how your disability isurance works but mine was such that for the first 3 months Iwas on short term disability and then after that it just got changed to long term disablity. My long term disability insurance would have covered me for a whole year. Pat(CA)
