Guest guest
Fortunately I never had that experience. It is amazing that in more than 2000 years they never learned how to deliver a baby without using barbaric methods. Doctors get away with an awful lot of stuff because they have the knowledge and the mystique to bamboozle the rest of the population. They are even conditioned to trust each other to take care of them while they are sick. They can't very well do surgery on themselves but consider themselves incompetent if they need a doctor themselves. Sometimes they are but it is not a rule of thumb. Actually I get a little stupid when I am sick - I can't always figure out how to take care of myself. But fortunately I seldom get sick. When I do it seems that I have something that the doctors can't cure. Rare diseases. Ora >Ora - did you say that this happened to you more than 50 years ago? If so no >wonder you commented that it was barbaric. That was the time when they used >gas and forceps to yank the poor baby out by his head/neck. I call that >barbaric . > > > >nne >
