You could also try one of the new desensitizing lubes such as Durex

Prolong Play (available at my local supermarket near the condom

aisle). My wife uses 5% lidocaine to treat her vulvodynia. I think

it also numbs me when we are attempting intercourse. You could also

try having him wear a condom.
