Guest guest
I'm debating whether to go ahead with my nerve block on Wed. It's not for PN, but rather the nerve on top, the genitofemoral nerve. But the kicker is he will do it one one side only. He doesn't want to do two sides at the same time. How does this sound to everyone? The injection will go into my lower back area. I asked him if the clitoral area will be affected and he said it could be. I have no pain there, so I want it left alone. The gabapentin I take does nothing for the burning pain. I've never taken elavil and don't want to. Stress affects it adversely and I tend to be uptight. I take zanax for anxiety. He's never done an injection for pain in this area before. And he's not putting pressure on me, but it seems like he really wants to help. Having one side numb and one side left alone, seems a lttle bizarre to me. And then he won't see me for 2 weeks. I'm shaky writing this all down. It's ggone away on its own twice before, but this time it's lasted longer (6 months). I'm so ambivalent.
