It may take different amounts of time to come down off a drug for each individual. I tried amitriptylene 7 years ago. It did not work, it made me feel awful, so I decided to go off of it and I went cold turkey and I was sick for a week! Everyone is different!See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
