Chicago gynos needed-- hormones sudden drop in estradiol to 24

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a good-natured gyno in the chicago area who knows

hormones? (I prefer blood serum rather than saliva.)

I recently went from a mid-cycle estradiol of 100 to a midcycle

estradiol of only 24. Actually, I was around 24 on days 7,11,14.

That's how I knew I was in big trouble. Certain days, I can't even

walk I am so weak. Terrible brain symptoms because of the steep drop

in such a short time. It's also affecting my vision. Terrible night

sweats.

It's like slamming into sudden menopause or something.

Crashing fatigue, blurred vision, dry mouth, you name it.

The drop was so sudden, the symptoms are outrageous.

I had an appt. with a gyno I do not like at all.

She gave me the Climara patch (which has nasty abdominal side effects

for me.)

She is not someone who pulls hormones so I have been having mine

pulled by an internist. (That's how I knew my levels.)

Any help with a chicago area gyno would be appreciated.
