Wow, 96 messages to read through and try to reply. And I don't think it's been that long since I was last on. On the parents of newborns with microtia... I can remember my mother telling me how they scared her about my ear, worse than it actually was too. And I am ashamed to admit, when my two children were born, each time, their ears were the first thing I looked at. If you have older kids... My mom did raise me as a "cover your ears" kind of kid. I didn't go to kindergarten because the kids would make fun of me possibly, and I was told this. I wear my hair up now, but I do catch myself, when around strangers, fidgiting, trying to cover my ear back up. Girls don't have it easier. I've never had the cute pixie hair cuts, I just can't have my ears showing all the time. I'm too self conscious. on checking with doctors... We'll I'm in the middle of nowhere, TN. I'd love one to be close, otherwise, I have some vacationing to do... Keep them coming, I may not reply much, but I'm loving the reading.
