Guest guest
Hello, ladies. I'm having difficulty finding a gynecologist who treats vulvodynia patients in the Seattle area. I have a list from the NVA, but the physicians on that list have been given very negative reviews from some local vulvodynia sufferers I've communicated with. What I'd really like is to find a good gyn and a physical therapist, but I want the gyn to recommend the PT instead of me just going straight to a PT. Can anyone recommend practitioners in the Seattle area? I'm even willing to try a naturopath. I've had primary vulvodynia, vaginusmus, vulvar vestibulitis, and endometriosis for many, many years. I take Lexapro, which helps the vulvar vestibulitis and burning pain, but I still have vaginusmus, clitoral pain, and internal pain during intercourse. I'm so frustrated with the pain that I figure it is time to see what's new in this field (I haven't gone to a gyn specifically for vulvodynia for probably 15 years). My boyfriend(and I) would love to have intercourse without him having to say every minute " are you OK? are you sure? " while I'm cringing and unconvincingly saying " yes " ...<sigh> Thanks for any help! -Nathalie T.
