Kim, Thanks. These little guys are tricky. I can't figure them out. So he was crazy again on Sunday night and slept through the night for the first time ever last night. I don't know what to make of it but I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that happens again tonight. Probably not, but there's always hope!!! Ha ha. Say a prayer for me. Ha ha. about a 2 weeks after the helmet and then got gradually better. I'm willing to bet it is unrelated to the helmet. Those little tykes are good at manipulating us though...haha...look, he has you guilty and bringing him into bed, good job, baby! He's a smart one!!!But seriously, I wish you the best, I know it's not easy "reading" a baby without the helmet, and with it is torture. Just keep going with your instincts and not beating yourself up. You brought him to bed because you needed to comfort him as much as he needed you. Now you are more clear minded today and can plan your next "attack".FYI, my son also cried for a few days after he graduated from the helmet. I guess he missed it!Good Luck,Mom to Lyons, RHS graduate 3/08>> Hi

He was really good at night on the first 3 days he wore it (only waking 2-3 times but going right back to sleep), then all of a sudden last night he was all crazy. Up and down all night. I brought him into bed with me. Big mistake, I should have just kept to my normal routine of comforting him in his crib but I feel bad that the band may be making him uncomfortable. I just find it strange that for the first three nights he was fine then all of a sudden really bad. He woke up all cranky but he is usually the happiest in the morning. I guess that's because he didn't sleep well.> > Has this happened to anyone else??? > > I did get an adjustment made yesterday because the band was squashing one of his eyes but I doubt that is the problem because it fits better now. , It definitley could be teething. He has no teeth, chew and drowls constantly but I don't see anything yet. He did OK Saturday, bad Sunday and believe it or not for the first time in his little life, slept through the night last night. I almost couldn't believe it!!!!! I will keep my fingers crossed that he sleeps again tonight but it looks like he is on a pattern of good night, bad night. It's hard to figure out my little guy. I think you are right that it has nothing to do with the band. He doesn't even seem to know that it is on his head and he never yanks or pulls at it like it is bothering him. I guess I will just go with the flow. ???????? Thanks, Sybilnwilkens2275 <nwilkens2275@...> wrote: Hi Sybil-Could he be teething? It's possible it's something totally unrelated to the band. Tina, Thanks for your thoughts and sharing your experience. He seems to be on an every other day is good schedule so we will see what happens. He did sleep through the night for the first time ever last night so I am praying that that continues but I doubt it. Ha ha. It's hard to know what is bothering these little guys but if he continues to have restless nights I will take him to the pediatrician and see if anything else is bothering him. Thanks again, Sybiltina_f528 <tina_f528@...> wrote: This is exactly what happened with my daughter. She is a bad sleeper anyway though and hardly ever slept thru the night before she got the band. The first three night she was in the band, she slept great. I don't think she woke more than once those nights. I was already very excited and thought this would last, but then, on the fourth night it changed and she was up all night. She did that for a few nights after that, I don't remember exactly how many, before she settled back into her normal routine of waking up every few hours. Her band has always fit well and I have no idea why she slept great the first few nights and then cried all night several nights in a row. So, I guess, I don't have any advice, but I am sure if the band fits well, your son will get used to it pretty quick and start sleeping better again. I haven't heard any moms complain about their

babies not sleeping or sleeping worse after they got the band and got used to the band. If he continues though, I would call the pediatrician to get him checked out; it might be something completely unrelated that is keeping him (and you) up all night.I hope he starts sleeping better soon!>> Hi ladies,> My son got his band on Monday.
