It may be worth a try being that you dont know them and they may or may not take your advice but who cares, they wont be mad at you or talk about you to other friends because you dont know them! I would try, go armed with so literature like a cranial info packet to give them in case they do respond positively. Good luck and if it doesnt work out no problem , you never have to talk to them again, if they like the advice mabye you will have gained a pal. Tammy

Also, make sure that the day care workers dont further hurt the issue by leaving them on their backs all day. Mabye mention the issue and how important it is.

My son had a helmet for 3 months last fall. He had flatness on one side, some bossing on the forehead and assymetry (one ear pushed more foward than the other). His results were very good. BCBS / Empire even paid 100% ($2500)! My son recently started daycare. He 15 mos old but gets dropped off in the infant room in the morning. There are a couple infants that could definitely benefit having a helmet. They seem even more severe than my son and my niece who both had helmets.I can't think of a nice way of mentioning this without offending someone. I don't think telling the teacher would help get these children helmets - although she really should be diligent about getting them off their backs. (I'm only there for a minute so I really don't know how much they are on their back.)I realize that it is pretty tramatic/offensive to be told that your baby is not perfect. I don't even know who

these parents are. I guess I should probably justlet it go and hope for the best for these babies? Just curious if there was anyone out with who had a similar situtation.

There are a few kids at my son's daycare that I think need a band as well but I haven't said anything. I wrote up a little story about my son's experience and asked the caretakers to give it to any parents if they had questions about why my son had a band. I figured if someone had a concern about their child's head, after seeing my son in a band it would spur questions but so far, no questions so I'm not saying anything. I just don't know what I would say. You know?

Hi,

I manage to help some of the babies at my daughter's pre-school last

month. The pre-school had a pot-luck brunch few week ago, and both my

daughter, son ( - Brachy - DOC band) and me attended.

It started out with me explaining his condition to the teachers, and

the parents besides us join in the conversation. And I really am glad

that, I brought him along instead of leaving him with his father at

home. Some parents even 'game' enough to start looking at each other

babies head and giving friendly comments... Two parents actually had

asked for the plagio info and address of CT from me. Hurray !!!

Peishan.
