Hi ,

I remember that you were having your baby not long ago me. But, mine is 3 months now and I also have been examining his head so much since birth..and the little guy is never on his back..and somehow his left side managed to start getting a tiny bit flat...you can see if you are looking for it (which is what my family says)...but its crazy how they can even start to get a tiny flat even if you know about it and are so proactive.

But, I use the noggin nest or that critter thing around the neck in the carseat, tons of tummy time, bumbo, exercauser...basiclly anything so he doesnt put pressure on his head. And, lately he has been sleeping on his stomach...I know he should be on his back..but he is sleeping so much better and he is really strong to lift his head.

Anyway, I thought that the pictures of Grant looked great...but I would just get him to sleep on the side that is rounder and since he is so young and its so little I bet it will round out. My son's side already looks totally round again.

Hi ,Thanks for the tip. I've thought of that one too. Before Grant was born we played around with where to have the carseat to give us the most leg room. His seat is actually on the right but I've been thinking that for a few months of the driver being squished it would be worth switching the two seats if it works to get him to look left. Thanks again.lisa> > > >> > > > Hi there,> > > > > > > > I just posted pictures in the Plagio Babies F-G folder. My > > son's name > > > > is Grant M. Hello , your not suppose to use the Noggin Nest in a carseat because if you were to get in an accident it a cushion. For a carseat to probably respond to impact it should be solid. This is what the car seat inspector told me at the hospital.

Hi ,It is crazy how they can get flat even when you are proactive rather than reactive. What is the critter thing? I have used the Boppy NOggin Nest thing in the carseat but it says not to...does anyone know the reason? Ya, I don't think I would notice Grant's head if I wasn't "on the ball" and looking at his head constantly. That is encouraging that your little guys head is almost totally round...I hope I can get Grant's head totally round again. I think positioning in utero could have played a role in both of my boys flattening. I say this because Eli had flattening on the left which makes sense for how he was laying at the 19 week ultrasound and Grant has flattening on the right and he was laying the opposite direction of ELi. The tricky thing is that even if I am on his left side and move his head to the left A LOT of times he will turn it back. We'll keep trying though and hopefully

we'll have great success.> > > >> > > > Hi there,> > > > > > > > I just posted pictures in the Plagio Babies F-G folder. My > > son's name > > > > is Grant M. Please let me know what

Hey!

I didnt know that the Noggin Nest wasnt supposed to be used in the carsear. Thanks for letting me know. I just checked the critter thing I was talking about is made by Fischer Price and at my babies r us it is sold by the strollers and carseats on a display case. But, it is blue and at each end there is some sort of animal face. its like a neck support and when it is around the neck the head cant touch the back. if i can find a link online i'll send it.

That is so tricky when they turn their head back....actually my son does that too...he loves that left side...even if i put toys on mobile on right side...he would look there for a little and go back to the left. but, i feed him on right side although he doesnt like he will still eat looking to the right. I hope you have great success!! jenny
