Guest guest
Your FT4 is at the low end of the range, but your FT3 is in the top half of the range. I think that may indicate that you don't have enough cortisol so your body can't use the T3 in your bloodstream. If that is the case, then you may have problems taking the Armour until you get your cortisol levels up. The RT3 also looks like it's high to me, but I don't know the formula to see what the ratio is. I'm sure Val will weigh in and give you an idea about that. Do you have your numbers from your cortisol testing? If you do, could you post them? Cherie Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.--C.S. > I am on 60 mg of Armour first thing in the morning. Guest guest
TSH 0.16 (0.30 - 5.00 uIU/mL) > FT4 0.6 (0.6 - 1.6 ng/dL) > FT3 3.33 (2.30 - 4.20 pg/mL) > Reverse T3 251 (90 - 350 pg/mL) Ther eis a real bad RT3 problem here in that it is ODD with you having T4 this low to have RT3 this high. Thsi indicates to me a very BIG problemwith conversion. Either Cortiosl is WAY high or something is very wrong, but at any rate to start wiht I would go on T3 only for a time to clear out the RT3. Are you on HC? How much and how low were your labs when you started it? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Constant hyper usually comes before fatigue because it is an adrenaline compensation for low cortisol. I was like that for years, then I started a combo of hyper and fatigue, then I completely crashed to all fatigue. Your two morning labs are low on the cortisol even though within range. Your DHEA is very low for the range. Both indicate to me adrenal fatigue. What is the person helping you giving you for your adrenals? Cheri -----Original Message----- Thanks everyone for trying to help me. I don't like being fatigued, but this constant hyper feeling is really weird. Maybe getting the Pravachol out of my system has me metabolizing the other meds differently? Thanks again for all your help! Jodi .
Guest guest
0.49 (range 0.27 - 1.18 mcg/dl) 7 - 9 a.m. 0.23 (range 0.10 - 0.41) 11 a.m - 1 p.m. 0.13 (range 0.05 - 0.27) 3 - 5 p.m. <0.03 (range 0.03 - 0.14) 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. DHEA 7 - 9 a.m. - 74 (range 71 - 640 pg/ml) DHEA: Cortisol Ratio/10,000 - 151 (115 - 1,188) UGH I hate this lab's ranges, btu what I ussually do when I have them is this: *AM I liek to see at the very top if it's range, yours is less than HALF.. WAY too low, Noon I liek to see close to the top as well, Here yours is too low as well; 4PM I like to see at least mid range, yuors is OK here barely. Night time midrange, yours is in the dirt. I do nto believe anythign less thna HC will work for you and I think you need it pretty badly. The lwo DHEA shoes adrenal exhaustion as it has given up tyring to compensate even with that. If it were me I would get on HC pronto with or wihtout a doc's help. Your thyroid situationn ill not improve nor will you be able to tolerate thyroid until you get the adrneals in better shape. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

I had horrible racing thoughts, anxiety, obessive & fixated thoughts and was driving my friends crazy. Through a hormone test I found out that my Estrone level was very high and all of my hormones were out of wack making me estrogen dominant which is common with Adrenal dysfunction. I took an anti-depressant for a while and it did nothing. Curing the problem is really what needs to be done to stop the symptoms. I read somewhere that almost all emotional illnesses have a physical cause as the root problem. Hope this helps.... Gail
Guest guest
How does the Cymbalta work for you? My major issue is the anxiety and I have, unfortunately, been on most of the SSRIs out there over the past 12 years. Jodi > That's what has been happening to me. Guest guest
No, I haven't had a Urine Hormone Panel. What does that involve? I believe that emotional illnesses have physical causes too. Guess my challenge lies in finding out what's causing my issues. Thanks, Gail! > Have you had a Urine Hormone Panel done?
