Guest guest
> Do any of you who have been involved in TRT have any regrets? The only regret I have is that I didn't find out about it 35 years ago! I can't think of anything negative, except my balls shrank on TRT, but since I have the secondary form, they've come back somewhat on HCG. If it weren't for T replacement I'd probably be dead by now, either from bad health or suicide.
Guest guest
Hi Tom, > Here's a question: > > Do any of you who have been involved in TRT have any regrets? Have side > effects been disturbing enough that you wish you'd not began the therapy in > the first place? Fortunately for me, I got off of testosterone, before I had any many long term side effects. I was only on testosterone for the six months prior to having my chromosomes tested. The testosterone did cause breast tissue to grow at an alarming rate, and I had to have a bi- lateral mastectomy within a month of my DX for Klinefelter Syndrome. Also fortunately, my testicles actually grew after I got on an excellent nutritional program including food supplements. > Would any of you go back to the way you were prior? What have been some of > the bummers associated with TRT? There is no way that I will ever consider going back on testosterone. The side effects are not worth it, besides I am in the best physical, mental and spiritual condition than at any other time in my life, and at the age of 59, I am not impotent. I have no signs whatsoever of osteoporosis or arthritis even though I had rheumatic fever three times as a youngster. > Just curious. I've got an appointment on Monday and I'm going through the > whole range of questions regarding beginning this. > > Any ideas? Input? For some fellows like myself, testosterone supplementation or replacement does not work. I have energy and stamina to burn, and a number of my 46XY friends my age and a few years younger, would give anything to have my energy and stamina. I rarely get more than 5-6 hours of sleep a night, and can operate on 3-4 hours if I have to. I have a near photographic memory for both short and long term memory. With the nutritional program, I have no problems with blood sugar or weight. Some might say that I could put more weight on, but I feel the best at when I weigh around 145 pounds(5' 10 " tall). My health is excellent to say the least, and am rarely sick. It has been many years since I have been sick enough to miss work. HAVE A GREAT DAY! Guest guest
My only regret is that I didn't band my son sooner. If you think you'll have ANY regrets at all, I would band. I should have listened to my gut a year ago when I had the urge to do something about the shape of my son's head. Girls do have the luxury of long hair to cover up their flat spot, but I've heard of some moms who didn't band and they say ponytails can look crooked because of the flat spot. Many moms regret not banding, so again, go with your gut. It's usually right! Good luck! Guest guest
I have no regret about banding . (he has brachy) Lots of my family members, relative have 'flat head'. And this is really quiet common for asian (excuse me if I am wrong). My family is really against the idea of banding, as they think he look fine and banding might affect the growth of brain... etc. Seeing progress did 'silent' some of their negative comments. And I am really happy too. It is my son, I will do what I think is best for him. So, do what you think is best for her.
