Guest guest
Last 3 nights I've not been able to fall asleep for 2 hours after going to bed. I've never had a problem falling asleep! Dosing 10 /7.5 /5 /2.5 at 9:00 1:00 5:00 Bedtime Last weeks temps 97.5 97.7 97.8 97.7 97.6 97.2 (may be ovulation) 97.8 (may be ovulation) Should I half the bedtime dose, skip it or take it at 9:00 pm so I may get to sleep by 11? I'm also waking around 5 and not getting back to sleep for at least an hour. Thanks, Janet _________________________________________________________________ Need to know the score, the latest news, or you need your HotmailĀ®-get your " fix " . http://www.msnmobilefix.com/Default.aspx

Guest guest
I'll increase the HC but do you think I should take the bedtime dose earlier around 9 so I'll get to sleep or will this increase change things? Guest guest
Hi Janet, I don't have the trouble falling asleep, although I take something every night so I'm not a good test of that. I do, however, have the 5AM wake-up problem which, at times has been a 3:45 - 4:30AM problem but it seems to have moved to 5AM since I began eating a protein snack right before bed. I take 5mg of HC at bed-time. This 3-5AM wake up problem seems is very common - it seems to affect almost all of us who are on HC at one time or another. I don't know that anyone has found a good answer yet, but some of the things that we have tried, with mixed success, are eating a high protein snack very shortly before bed - something like a few slices of apple with sunflower or almond butter. Increasing, or decreasing your bedtime dose of HC - for you that would be increasing to 5MG if you're at 2.5mg. Setting an alarm for somewhere around 3AM to get up and eat and take a small dose of HC so that your body doesn't force you awake at 5AM. I know that even prescription sleep aids don't help with the staying asleep part of this because I've been living it for over two months. They do seem to help with getting to sleep though. There are also the non-prescription sleep aids like melatonin, l-tryptophan, valerian root, and others if you haven't tried them yet. The first two did not affect me well, but many people seem to have good luck with them. > > Last 3 nights I've not been able to fall asleep for 2 hours after going to bed.
