How do I convince my doctor to raise my level of Cortef?

My doctor put me on 5 mg of Cortef once a day first thing in the morning.

This dose has not been beneficial to me at all. Some days are worse than

before I started on it. What can I tell him so he will increase my Cortef.

I am also on 90 mg of Armour.

My blood thyroid results are:

T3 total 96 60-181

T4 free .77 .8-1.8

T3 free 319 230-420

Saliva Adrenal

7-8 13 13-24

11-noon 4 5-10

4-5 1 3-8

11-12 3 1-4

Cortisol burden 21 23-42
