This sounds similar to my situation. My son is 10 months old. His head is wider than long and it is flat in the back. We too were unsure what to do. With the help of many families on this list, we made the decision to go for it. We had the 3D scan last week and pick-up our band on the 25th. I believed if there is even a slight chance for improvement, I needed to do it. Based on what I have seen and read, I think there is a great change for lots of improvement. I have not come across one person who has regretted moving foward with the band.

Need advice/help about decision

my son is 11.5 months old and we just went to CT for a consultationtoday. They have told me that he has braciocephaly and a band wouldwork....now i know they are in the business.My son's head, they say is wider then normal around the ears and alittle flat in the back, but they also say his fontinel is flat andthat probably will not be pushed outI am struggling at a decision and am just unsure of what the DOC bandwill do to him...can someone offer advice if they have been there?Thanks
