Some have different names in Mexico but you can ask them. You can also

google for the Mexican names for cortisol drugs. I know in Mexico there are

at least two different ones. Are you fluent in Spanish? Don't assume they

will be fluent in English if you aren't contacting them in advance or have

someone fluent with you. The more popular ones usually do have a bilingual

person but the regular small pharmacies may not. I live near the border so a

lot of Americans here go to Mexico for drugs but a good many of them are

fluent in Spanish too.

I haven't done my canary club test yet, but I am going to mexico next

week and I hear you can just walk into the pharmacy and buy items

cheaply without an rx!

So, in anticipation of my test results, what could I stash ahead of

time?

Could I get armour thyroid, Cortef, or can you all give me some ideas

of things I should look for on the shelves? The prices are so cheap it

would probably be cheaper to buy even some things I might not need.

Depending on where you go, alot of pharmacias in

Mexico have a reference book, whereby they can see

what Mexican brand maps to the US brand. If I

remember correctly - it also looks for the active

ingrediant.

A good thing to do is take an empty bottle of a drug

that you're taking now, or a photo or printout (from

the web) of the drug your inquiring about with you.

Also, the price varies greatly at the different

pharmacias. I actually got good prices close to the

border - as opposed to in the town.
