Guest guest
I'm on 30 mg HC. I'm dosing 10 10 5 5 but had been doing 12.5 10 5 2.5 to see if I could get stable temps.(I'm still so tired) I'm on 2.5 grains of Armour. My face is getting rounder and the last two days bags under my eyes (that's new) I'm a little dizzy when I first lie down or get up. My middle finger's first joint feels like it's asleep. (don't know if it's related at all) My temps are low but I'm just flummoxed as to the next step. This is taking forever to get straight. I'm thinking I need to increase Armour. I don't want to fool with sex hormones yet but wonder if I should. And advice or encouragement is appreciated lynn
Guest guest
So, are you saying temps are still not stable? You don't want to increase Armour if temps are not stable. You could have an issue with thyroid not getting into the cells with too low of cortisol or an RT3 issue. How long on 30 mg and did you ever get temps stable at that dose? Your symptoms do sound hypo but you want to look at if it is a low cortisol issue or RT3 issue making you hypo first. Is your ferritin okay? Cheri -----Original Message----- I'm on 30 mg HC. After the last 1/4 grain increase they get unstable again. > Is your ferritin okay? Hasn't been tested yet and suppose I will next go around. Maybe I should increase 2.5 HC. not sure what kind of schedule to try. Thanks for responding
Guest guest
Lynn, I am remembering fromyour other post correctly that your temps. were stable, but became unstable when you made your last increase of Armour? How long ago did you make the increase? What I would think is that your body needs a bit more HC to handle the increase. You could try 12.5-10-5-5 and see how that goes. I'm sure Val will also have some ideas. Cherie Experience: that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn.--C.S. > I'm on 30 mg HC. Guest guest
You might be due for even more of a HC increase if temps are still not stable. Yes, any illness can make them crash and temps go down, especially if not stable to begin with. Mine are stable but crash during my period or when I tried T3. Cheri -----Original Message----- How long ago > did you make the increase? I made the increase a few weeks ago. Had a headache and a little cold during that time but have been fine this last week. (thought it was curious that very low temps recorded during a three day migraine) Still lots of variation in the temps in the last week. I see the doc again this week and want to have a bit of a game plan. thanks Cheri for you assistance lynn .
Guest guest
Cherie gave a good recommendation on schedule. I would go at least 2.5 maybe even 5 mg increase.
