Guest guest
Hi you probably have vitiligo skin disorder. Me too. I have spots olover my body for 20 or more years! i am also on www.vitiligosupport.com website, you can ask questions people on this site . As i have learned we need to fix first adrenals(mine is very bad) then our thyroid ( i have thiroditis). after those things fixed, skin disorder could disapper. Sorry , can't help much. - In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , Brad thomas wrote: > > Does anyone know if the white pigmentation spots are from Thyroid or Adrenals? > and does it mean too much hormone or too little? Guest guest
Thank you so much for your response....your recommended site has been a great help to me. I'm finding out that I must cure myself after 20 years of doctor after doctor....I at least have found one who has taken me seriously. I'v only had the spots for about a year and they are getting worse. They are very small but there seems to be more and more everytime I take notice. thanks again for your help... Guest guest
It can be both. Skin pigmentation spots are usually adrenal (brown and white) but thyroid can cause the white ones too. Proper treatment is supposed to help them. I hope so. I am covered in the brown ones and have several white ones now too. Too little hormone in both cases. If you have throat closing and nodules, I think you need more thyroid. That was the case with me. Breast shrinking...well, sister, glad to hear I am not alone in this. When my hormones starting to go crazy in my early 20s, for no reason my bra size went down by one. I didn't care at the time because I was a little too big for my frame anyway. However, now even when I gain a lot of weight, the breast size does not go up. This is related to all this stuff but I haven't figured out exactly how. I do know that some people with Graves after taking medication went up a cup size so thyroid can be a partial factor but I am leaning toward my adrenals being the bigger issue. No answer for you but wanted to let you know that you are not alone and I am only 42 and haven't started menopause yet. Guest guest
Cheri, Thanks so much for your response...I've read somewhere that lack of adrenal and thyroid hormones can cause breast shrinkage but it is good to know that I'm not alone. I went from a C cup to a barely A....very distressing for me. I also went from a size 10-12 to a size 0-2 in pants and small in tops....I lost 30 lbs in one month. I went from 135lbs to 105 and I'm 5' 7 " ....very shocking and upsetting. 2 1/2 years later...I'm now 122lbs and in a size 4. I guess some improvement but it's a long time in coming and I still have a long way to go I think. And the breasts...well...they are better but not what they were. I will also say...that I was seeing an NP who was doing accupuncture and that really worked. He got the adrenals jump started and that's what got the breasts growing again and the dryness in the skin softening and the hair on my legs starting to grow again....but it wasn't until I switched to a NP/MD who got me on Cortef and Armour that the weight started to come back....but it is a painfully slow process. thanks again for your response...Gail MsSquarepants wrote: It can be both.
