Yes, our ortho can scan at the next appt. His scanner wasn't working

properly when we casted so he couldn't get a good picture to compare

to the first. We are getting the StarBand.

I agree with Jen...if the face is asymetrical and the ears are still

off then you are making the right decision. I think the band helps

with the " what if's. " As for people's posts scaring you, hopefully

I can encourage you...my son was the SAME happy baby the entire time

banded. Most babies adjust just fine. Yes, some do take longer but

for the most part babies adjust pretty quickly. YOu can see a lot

of happy banded babies in the photos section. Good luck with your

banding journey.

PS: Even if your son has improved recently unless he is really

young and you are really agressive with repoing I doubt the results

would be as good as they will be with a band.
