I can relate to your situation. I have 11 month old twins and sometimes they still get up in the middle of the night. My son Spencer had a DOC band for 12 weeks and that would sometimes disturbed his sleep. When he would wake up in the middle of the night, I made sure that I stayed in his room. If we left his room, he would think that it was time to play. So we just sat in the rocking chair and rocked. A lot of the time I would also make him a bottle to help put him back to sleep. After a week or so of doing this, things got better and he started to sleep through the night more often. Since he's graduated from the band, he will sometimes wake up half way through the night. How old is your baby? With older babies (usually starting around 6-8 months) if they don't get enough activity during the day, that can cause them to wake up more often during the night. (at least that was the case for my twins) If your baby is old enough have you thought about putting your baby in a play group of some sort? When my twins weren't sleeping through the night, I think I tired everything to make sure that they would.

Best of Luck.... Just know that things will get better :)
