Guest guest
I can relate to your situation. I have 11 month old twins and sometimes they still get up in the middle of the night. My son Spencer had a DOC band for 12 weeks and that would sometimes disturbed his sleep. When he would wake up in the middle of the night, I made sure that I stayed in his room. If we left his room, he would think that it was time to play. So we just sat in the rocking chair and rocked. A lot of the time I would also make him a bottle to help put him back to sleep. After a week or so of doing this, things got better and he started to sleep through the night more often. Since he's graduated from the band, he will sometimes wake up half way through the night. How old is your baby? With older babies (usually starting around 6-8 months) if they don't get enough activity during the day, that can cause them to wake up more often during the night. (at least that was the case for my twins) If your baby is old enough have you thought about putting your baby in a play group of some sort? When my twins weren't sleeping through the night, I think I tired everything to make sure that they would. Best of Luck.... Just know that things will get better Lorie Mom to Spencer and Alizabeth 11months Spencer- Left side Plagio- DOC Band Grad (9/07-12/07) Glendale, AZ [sPAM] want do you do what do you do when its 2:00 am or 3:00 am and you child wakes up because eather there hot , cold or because of helmet and then when there up thay think its play time and does not want to lay down untill 4:30 or 5:00 am ,I want to know if there are any other mothers out there that as tired as i am or was as tired as i am when there child or children frist got there helmets/ bandcubie momma to allysann age 8 months has plagio & brachy has been in helmet 2week/4days
