Hi Dorian,

I had an appt. already with Dr Elariny. I have left

messages and talked to his office assistant who tells me

she will call me right back and then never does. So, I

would not want this kind of treatment if I had the surgery

and had a problem and then got the run around. The last

time she told me she would call me right back. And when she

didn't, I called and got the answering machine and left

another message. I said this is ridiculous. Especially when

I see so many people happy with their surgeries in NYC.

Also, Dr Elariny seems very stressed. It would have been so

much easier if I could have the surgery locally. Now, after

getting out of hospital I will be taking the train which is

a pain. But the surgery is worth all the effort. You do

what you gotta do. I don't forsee any problem with

insurance I have federal BCBS and will just explain the

reasons I have to go out of network. I got approved for the

RNY without any difficulty and hope the lap DS is not a problem.

Sorry to hear about the trouble in getting return phone calls. Yes,

Shauntae is becoming extremely busy and this is something that I

mentioned to Dr. Elariny when I last saw him. He is aware of it and

said that he is looking into hiring more office staff, which would be

a blessing for Shauntae.
