Guest guest
CT has a great reputation, but you'll still need a prescription. CT can send the info to your ped, and hopefully they'll write the script. I know others have seen Dr V. but I'm not in that area. You might want to search the old messages for his name (go to the groups webpage to search if you normally read email online). -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > I have been to CT in Glenview and I also have an appointment with Dr. > Vicari, which I havent decided yet if I'm going to cancel or not. Guest guest
We went to CT in Oakbrook. They were nice, but I wasn't really thrilled. I am trying to get re-measurements done for dd, and I may try Glenview. Are you in the city? I think that there may be a starband facility at children's in lincoln park - thought i'm not sure. Guest guest
We saw Dr. Vicari for my dd. He was very nice and matter of fact. DD is 13 mm. She has had her Starband for almost 2 weeks and I already see a noticeable improvement. All adjustment appts. are through Childrens. Can go to the Glenbrook location, Westchester or 2515 N. . I dont have any experience with CT but I do know that Dr. Vicari is one of if not the leading doctor in his field. Did anyone read the article on the front page of Sunday's Tribune re: plagiocephaly? Dr. Vicari was interviewed. > > > > I have been to CT in Glenview and I also have an appointment with Dr. > > Vicari, which I havent decided yet if I'm going to cancel or not. Guest guest
We went through Oakbrook, my son has been wearing his DocBand for 3 weeks now. I am not going to lie the first few nights were awful, he had a tough time sleeping. But once we got through those nights it has been smooth sailing so far. My son was 6.5 months old once he got his band andI wish we would have gotten it sooner. If you are wanting a 2nd opinion for piece of mind, then go for it! Otherwise the sooner you get your daughter banded the less time she will wear it. I truly wish we would have done it sooner, but our pediatrician kept putting us off:( > > I have been to CT in Glenview and I also have an appointment with Dr. > Vicari, which I havent decided yet if I'm going to cancel or not. Guest guest
We trusted CT's opinion and didn't go elsewhere but like said if you want a 2nd opinion, go for it! From the pics (although hard to tell), I would band. Good luck in your decision. PS: We had a great experience with CT. Our son had a hard time sleeping the first 2 nights also but by the 3rd night he was back to sleeping through. My son was 7.5 months when he was banded. > > > > I have been to CT in Glenview and I also have an appointment with Dr. > > Vicari, which I havent decided yet if I'm going to cancel or not.
