Guest guest
Hi Guys! Just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you in on my latest! Last Tuesday night, I was out on my Harley (a HUUUUUUUUGE one!) and my husband and his egomaniacal friend exposed me to the road with the most curves in the entire world. Needless to say, I undernegotiated a bassackwards cambered curve, panicked and went straight. Straight into the thickest, solitary, patch of dust you've ever seen. 25 feet beyond and before this were large boulders used to hold up a canal from El Nino. I flew over my left sideview mirror, over the handlebars and landed on my left (banded) side. Well, my menstruating self must have formed some great adhesions because that sucker's still in place...well, at least I'm not starving. Just some major bruising of the left leg and ribs, and road rash and horrendous bruising of the left elbow. Thank god for helmets!! I was only going 25 mph too, so what did I learn??? RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE DIPDUCK!!!!! Men's egos are amazing things! And, did ya'll hear about our 5.5 tremblor out here in california?? Yep, a pretty good one too. No damage here, just my disabled son who will talk it to death for the next 6 months or so. But at least he can talk. And by the by, for you bagelstein fans...His talk last year at the national obesity society meeting... " How pms' severe contractions jerk loose band adhesions and the failure rate of those band patients " . This guy is absolutely amazing!!! Lastly, a word on plateaus...your body has registered what you're doing. You must increase at least one of the following, but preferably all: 1. water consumption 2. exercise 3. decrease carbs. In other words, your body is used to the amount of exercise you're doing, so you need to push again. I know how thrilled we all are to hear that!! But, fact is fact. We have all faced a worse one...this is just one more to deal with and CONQUER!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW'S EVERYONE DOING TODAY, THURSDAY?? Success=Hope for the Best, Prepare for the Worst.
