Guest guest
Can you get a filter that filters it out from your tap water? Cheri -----Original Message----- We were having water delivered that didn't contain flouride but had to stop because we couldn't afford it anymore. I'M SO DEPRESSED!! I love tea and other than water it's the only thing I drink. Now what??? I could just drink water but that's not even safe. What's a person to do or rather drink? . Guest guest
Last year, I got a Pur filter for my faucet but IIRC, it does not filter out flouride. Now I distill my water. I'm going to finish the green tea I have, then change it out for water >>>Can you get a filter that filters it out from your tap water? Guest guest
> Can you get a filter that filters it out from your tap water? > Yes. Could you filter it out of the tea itself? Obviously without taking out whatever else is in the tea and ending up with just pure water.

How do you distill your own water. I'm fascinated.
Guest guest
Hi , http://www.we-beat-prices.com/ The one that is $97.00 looks just like mine. I paid $99. 00. When I clicked onto the link, it is the same area code to call. http://tinyurl.com/2jc3y Sol, who posts here, has one too. >>>How do you distill your own water. Guest guest
My problem is I don't like herbal teas. I've tried many over my life, and have several here right now, and I've never found one that I liked. I just don't seem to be able to force myself to eat or drink anything I actually dislike. What I LIKE is TEA, camellia sinensis, even decaf though it isn't half as good tasting. And coffee..............ah coffee. I have been able to accomodate to decaf, but it took a long time as the taste just isn't the same. Maybe I'll just try to learn to drink hot water. Guest guest
herbal teas helped me greatly during this flu. especially camomille. it decreases viral replication. bw Nil Re: Re: Green Tea, Fluoride & the Thyroid My problem is I don't like herbal teas. Guest guest
Sol, were we supposed to be able to eat anything that we like anymore? If I didn't eat stuff that I don't like lately, I would have starved by now. If I go by gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, caffeine-free, non-goitrogenic, and take away all of the foods that I tested intolerant to which includes beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, egg yolks, and a whole long list of other stuff, oh and eat no carbs and no sugar, I guess that I can eat organic turkey, fish, vegetables (that aren't goitrogens) and fruits (except that they have too much sugar). Oh yeah, I hate fish Good luck to us all in surviving this. > > My problem is I don't like herbal teas. Guest guest
I think when you get some gut issues resolved you will be able to eat a lot of foods. I was even more restricted than you for a time. I am really hoping that you get some results from the PC. I know how horrible it is not to be able to eat anything because everything creates problems. Oh, and I ate a ton of quinoa today with no issues. You will get there too eventually. Cheri -----Original Message----- Sol, were we supposed to be able to eat anything that we like anymore? Guest guest
I had quinoa for lunch today and tolerated it OK (small bowl). I hope that you're right and that the PC helps. What's getting to me more the few days (although it's close) is the back and rib pain. I don't know if it's attributable to adrenals which I have beaten up, hypoT, or maybe it's as Barb said and my last Armour increase was too much but temps don't support that proposition. Wondering whether I am herxing b/c of the big dose of vitamin D and how long that might last if it is. > > I think when you get some gut issues resolved you will be able to eat a lot > of foods. Guest guest
Yes, mine is the $79 model, for which I paid $99 several years ago. I'm glad to know if I have to eventually replace mine it will be cheaper, LOL. sol GrammyDx2 wrote: > http://www.we-beat-prices.com/ > > The one that is $97.00 looks just like mine. I paid $99. 00. You misunderstood, I didn't say your adrenal pain was because your last Armour increase was too much, I said *I* got that pain when MY increase wasn't tolerated. Since your temps are stable, I think you tolerated it okay. I think your adrenals ARE hurting though, cause you beat them up over the weekend from changing your HC schedule. There's waking up, and then there's waking up nauseous and sweating . . . probably a little higher on the low cortisol scale. When DH or I get enough adrenal pain, it seems like a little more HC for a couple of days really soothes them. I know nothing about Vit D herxing, but it would make sense that a high dose of anything would have some sort of effect. Oh, and don't waste your $30 chromium pills. Take 'em with a big meal or open 'em up. Like you said, they don't need to be split exactly in half. Wishing you better days. How does that song go? " You can sustain . . . hold on for one more day. Guest guest
But Barb, I want to be more similar to you in how I feel and how I respond b/c I get the impression that you're a lot better off than I am. Don't deny me that comparison/pleasure Literally every vertebrae in my back is sore. Usually I'm sore only from T-5 to T-7. The ribs and adrenal area aren't as bad today as they were yesterday, but it's early yet too - it gets worse as the days goes on of course. You're right about the severity of the beating that I gave the adrenals too. It had been a while since my left hand has felt that uncoordinated - since the days when I would wake up with those attacks and then be fumble-fingered for the next few days afterwards. I think that that is clearing up some now too. Interesting side-story on that is that my new doc tested the reflex in that arm, instead of the usual Achilles test, and estimated that it's at approx. 40% of normal which he said isn't as bad as many he has treated, but obviously not good. No wonder I'm dropping stuff all of the time these days. I probably should have been stress-dosing over the past few days, but I never know how to do it exactly unless there is an obvious stressor like the argument that my wife and I had over the weekend or waking up in the middle of the night sweating and sick. I'm dizzy right now and have been all week for most of the day so I guess that I could take 5mg now and then another 5mg at 3:30 for my regularly scheduled dose? Stress-dosing continues to be one of the trickier things that I struggle with how to do. I'll use the chromium as you suggest. I guess that it doesn't matter if I don't get exactly 200mg. I should have brought some with me today as I had brown rice and pork for lunch and two hours later I'm getting real hungry again. > You misunderstood, I didn't say your adrenal pain was because your > last Armour increase was too much, I said *I* got that pain when MY > increase wasn't tolerated.
