Guest guest
Hi everyone, my name is April. I have a 6 month old son Preston who just got his DOC Band on March 4th. I joined this group just to have other people to talk to who are dealing with the same situation. Preston was diagnosed with a severe case of positional plagiocephaly, he may possibly have to have 2 DOC Bands made but that is of course wait and see. We go to the Charlotte, NC office of Cranial Technologies. They are super nice there! Preston has been doing very well with the band, he hardly notices its even on. I really hope this makes a big improvement with his head. Well, thats our story!
Guest guest
Welcome! My son, Louden, who is 10.5 months old just started wearing his second DOC from the Charlotte office. He also had severe positional plagio and started his first band at 6 months. The results were great. He started at 20 mm and ended at 9 mm. They still recommended the second since 9 is borderline mild/moderate. I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure you'll be pleased with their office. Who is your therapist? Staci (mom to Louden - 2nd DOC 10.5 months) -----Original Message-----From: Plagiocephaly [mailto:Plagiocephaly ]On Behalf Of prestonsmommy07Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2008 4:21 PMPlagiocephaly Subject: NEWBIE HERE!!! Guest guest
we were most concerned about joeys ear assymetry. did our initial consult, did our casting then had her baby and was on maternity leave. We saw mostly but once when she was busy with training a new tech and did our exit measurements and cast b/c was on vacation. They are all really nice. started with 15,15 and 17 mm assymetry and finished (after 1 band) with 4, 5 and 6 mm assymetry On Wed, Mar 12, 2008 at 9:28 AM, prestonsmommy07 <prestonsmommy07@...> wrote: Our therapist is .
