Guest guest
Well, temps might be wonky for a while now b/c I'm on this super high dose of vitamin D - just took another temp and I'm headed up again 2 hours after taking it. I also use sea salt pretty liberally now which is supposed to help with BP so might that mask low cortisol also? I've been going mostly by temps until now. > > I think the BP rising is mroe definite than the steady temps t use to > know if you are on enough. Guest guest
The sal t wil not change your BP except for what needs corecting. It does so by supporting the function of your adrnelas and the cortisl in your body. Sea salt does NOT raise BP! In fact it helped me lower mine considerably. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I hadn't thought of that. I moved up my telephone consultation follow-up with my new doc to next week so I'll add that question to the list. Does vit D upset the GI too? I know that it can be constipating. I'll ask though. > > Are you taking the Vitamin D orally or shots? I guess we go by symptoms, and whether we can get optimized on thyroid, and that is done by symptoms too, isn't it? I'm now testing BP to help determine my HC dose. My temps stabilized at 25 mg, but still couldn't tolerate very much T3, still didn't feel well (humorous understatement :-P ), and BP always fell on standing. At 30 mg it rose once in a while, I'm going to 35mg and hope that makes BP rise on standing more reliably. I'm beginning to think I may even have to go above 35 mg at least for a while, but won't do that unless I really need to. But I want to feel well, and be able to optimize thyroid more than I want to focus on a number for HC. sol
