The bulge above the ear (if it is on the side where the strap opens)

probably is just fluid retention and will go away after graduation.

Our son had this and it was gone. I'm not sure about your son being

agitated...we didn't have that. Just keep watching for red marks.

The one on his forehead sounds similiar to one my son had almost the

entire time banded. I just kept a close eye to make sure it wasn't

getting worse. I think if your little guy is as active as mine was

it could cause the band to rub...is it right in between the eyes?
