The Pravachol wasn't quite doing the job, and my doc thought that Zocor's positive results with stroke and heart patients would be a win for me. While on it, my usual ~2.4 INR seemed to go down and lock at 1.8. We never did make a change to my warfarin dosage because my cardiologist and I agreed I could come off it. That is very interesting, Clay, because my coumadin clinic chief says Zocor and Warfarin (and i assume coumadin) do not get along...and that is the biggest change I have made. in fact while I was writing this post, I just got a call from the Coumadin Queen at the clinic and she says YES! Coumadin is ALWAYS better than WARFARIN...and she changed my prescription. I pick up my Coumadin this weekend. Lil
