Do people get the impression that their doctors just " go along

with it " because they're tired of us knowing more than they do, and

are sensible enough to realize it (this is for GPs and internists,

not endos who think they know everything and would challenge you with

false/misleading information)

The doc who prescribed my Armour apparently has a reputation as

being " well liked because he tells people what they want to hear.. "

Well, that's just dandy with me - I just gotta make sure that " what I

want to hear " is correct. Do other people have this experiene?

I would take those type of doctors " just go along " any day before the

stubborn, misinformed, inflexible jerks I have had, lol. A doctor's role is

really as a consultant in our health care. So when they go along, I see that

as a good sign. Of course, they should follow up with anything that could be

dangerous to us but more often I find they are dangerous to us because they

refuse to think outside their boxes.
