My HR and BP were up when I was thyroid dumping. Did he use HC cream

or stress-dose a big dose of HC for any reason? I'm just offering a

suggestion. Others know better what to ask.

his BP about 10 minutes ago and it was OK but his pulse was 103

sitting and 110 standing. His BP dropped when he stood. He is lying

down now and just got up to put his exercise heart monitor on. It

registered 161. He had 3 stints last Feb 07 and is on Toprol and

plavix now. Any ideas what would help!!!!!

No, he doesn't take HC. He has quieted down a little and we decided to see

if we can avoid ER tonight since we discovered he hasn't taken his Toprol

for 3 days.

He only takes Armour, Plavix, Glucophage, and Topral.

Thanks for asking though,

Delores

Delores,

My husband has A-Fib also. His Dr said that if his heart starts to

race again that have him cough or bear down really hard. That might

reset the heart rate to normal. DH is on Toprol also & it is very

important that he takes it ON TIME. They really stressed the on time

part.
