Guest guest
Hi, I haven't been online in sometime. We repo'ed for 7 months from 2 months to about 9 months. We got great improvement. In fact, we monitored our progress with the orthotics person in our area with the star scanner. We had seen improvements with this whole process. His face and ears totally straigtened. He went from a 12 mm, to 8 mm to 5mm assymetry. However, our orthotics person did mention that the right corner of our guy's head will probably remain a bit flat. My guy is now 2 1/2 year old, and I must say I haven't really noticed this area... only when his hair is wet and or when gets a haircut. I must say it bothers me, and I am not sure the helmet would have straigtened this area out. I am wondering if there are any old-timers online, those who have repo'ed and done the helmet, and am wondering what your 2 1/2 year old looks like now. I think I have become a bit obsessive lately. I am not sure why.. I guess I also get depressed too... that my guy really will never be totally round.. and I did everything I could at the time... and it worked pretty good.. just not perfectly. Just wondering if anyone else is suffering from post-repo' or post- helmet depression that seem to surface after short haircuts Jeanie Mother to Bert - 2 1/2 year old
