Guest guest
That definately sounds like a good plan to me. I forgot about adding the extra doses in a couple of days apart. My brain fog isworse than usual today. :-( Don't let the low temps frighten you too much. Many people with low thyroid have temps that are that low. Once you get everything straigthend out it will get better. When you take your temps. remember to start at least 3 hours after you get up. I do mine at 3:00pm, 6:00pm, and 9:00pm. I also try to take my basal temp every mornign befoer I get out of bed. That doesn't always happen though and I don't use it in my averageing. What you are looking for right now is to get your average temperatures stable so they don't change more than .2 degrees each day. There will be some flucuation with your monthly cycle though. Also, be aware if you start having low cortisol symptoms that you might have to add in another dose quicker. That is what happened to me. Not long after I started taking HC I started getting dizzy and nasueous in the evening and hypoglacemic around midnight. Both of those things got better once I added the next two doses in. My body was telling me in no uncertain terms that it needed more HC. I'm not on thyroid meds yet though, so I didn't have to worry about a thyroid dump. Cherie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
