BUMP What's best to increase ferritin levels?

Hi,

Which is best in my case (I'll post labs): Iron Bisglycinate or Ferrous

Sulfate? My ferritin level needs to increase but not my overall iron

or hematocrit. My doc especially does not want my hematocrit to

increase due to another condition. Can I increase ferritin without

increasing the other iron levels? I know nothing about this.

Suggestions please?

Labs:

Ferritin 46 (10-232)

Iron 107 (40-175)

TIBC 279 (250-450)

% satur. 38 (15-50%)

UIBC 172 (110-370)

Hemoglobin 12.5 (11.7-15.5)

Hematocrit 37.2 (35-45)

platelets 205 (140-400)
