While granted, we don't want to OD on HC, likewise, you don't want to

keep burning up all your reserves. What I ask DH is: do you feel

anxious, shaky, or nauseous at all? For him, anxiety is usually the

problem, and I then make him take a squirt (2 mg on the syringe).

This is a much smaller hit than the 5 mg you're doing, so helps,

without being too much.

When he started the day with 10 mg (instead of 8 now), then he DID

need a 7 p.m. dose, cause he'd start to get anxious. I guess that's

the suppression effect. After lowering the first dose to 8 mg, he

usually doesn't need a 7 p.m. dose. Unless, like the other day, they

were talking politics at work and he got all worked up! : )

You know, when I was that hypoglycemic, I tried not to eat ANY carbs,

including rice or quinoa. I followed Rosedale religiously, and it

worked. Ate mostly veggie sides and all meats were somehow drenched

in some sort of fat like olive oil or cream. Just an idea.
