Clarification --oops... i didn't mean to imply that Hanger had a passive band, I know they are considered more dynamic now. -- I kindof lumped them into the passive category with one of my statements, and that was not my intention -- however, I've seen posts where appointments are more than 2 weeks out with Hanger, but that's an individual orthotist thing, not a reflection on the product - and that's what you need to consider when choosing a band (experience of orthotist and ability to work with you, answer your questions, etc.)-- Cranial Tech vs. Hanger P

Some babies need more than one band. Our son started at 7.5 months

with 8mm and only needed one band to get to 3mm assymetry. I would

go with whomever you feel most comfortable with...the ortho is key.

Since you are starting young, your daughter may only need one band.

How severe is her assymetry? Your consistency with time in the band

is key also to gaining the most amount of correction. The DOC band

can be up to 16 weeks unless a baby outgrows it sooner.
