Guest guest
Those of you taking oral temperature using a mercury thermometer, how long do you leave the thermometer in your mouth? I usually take mine for 3 minutes but have discovered there is a huge difference in the reading if it is left for 5 minutes Lynda
Guest guest
I just got a new thermometer and there were no instructions! Do you leave it in for 5 minutes? Guest guest
With a mercury it will de0nd on the individual thermometer. Try checking it at 3 monutes then again at 5 mionutes. If the number is the same then you knwo you can use the three minutes. If it has gone up at 5 moniutes the longer time is needed for that thermpometer. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
