Guest guest
We found out our daughter would need to be banded almost 2 months ago (she was too young at the time, which is why the delay in banding) and I have been dreading the casting/banding process ever since. I have to admit that it has really not been bad. She admittedly is a laid back baby, so we've been very lucky on that front. She didn't cry a bit during the casting -- even dozed off at one point (hilarious since she was stripped down to her diaper with a stocking over her head and face and plaster dripping all over her). She got her band on Friday and doesn't seem to mind it a bit. She did wake up once in the night the first two nights, but went back to sleep after we fed her. On night 3, she was back to her regular 9 hour sleeping routine. I just wanted to share a good (or at least not bad)experience for those parents out there who may be dreading it like I was. Hopefully, your banding will go smoothly also! Will keep you posted on her progress.
