Temps tanking - don't know why

I'm trying to give my stomach a break from the HC so I'm using the

compounded cream that I got yesterday that I like - it rubs in very

easily. I also took 1ml of Pediapred (prednisolone liquid) last night

instead of my usual 5mg of HC cream. I wouldn't say that I slept

well, but I didn't have to get up and I didn't wake up for good until

7:30AM which is excellent for me compared to lately. My BS this

morning was 86 instead of 76 which seems more normal and systolic BP

went up 11 points between sitting and standing. However, my temps are

just tanking - 96.9 today so far which is lower than I have seen them

in a long time. I feel pretty hypo too, of course, but can't increase

Armour until the temps get more stable.

Since I had to catch my doc in this mistake and get him to re-write

this prescription, would someone double-check me:

Pediapred is an oral liquid that contains 5mg/5ml of prednisolone.

1mg of prednisolone = either 4 or 5mg of HC (Val keeps saying and I

keep forgetting). So, if my dose of HC at night is 5mg, my dose of

the Pedipred is 1 - 1 1/4mls correct?

Thanks,

P.S. Any ideas about why my temps are tanking are welcome too.

OK, thanks again Val. One thing that I thought of re: my temps is

that I ran out of my 1/2 grain Armour so I'm using an older 1 grain

prescription that I had filled in September but didn't use because I

needed the smaller pills. I've kept in the fridge the whole time and

the pills are dry and still quite smelly so I was hoping that they

would be fine. Is Armour known for losing its potency after 4 or 5

months, even if refrigerated? Is so, this is going to be a long hypo

weekend.

Thanks,

Usually they are good for 6 months anyway but Armou can lose potency so

it would depend on how old they were when you filled the script.
