Hanger and Star are similar - it really is all about the ortho. How much experience they have working with the band.

Would it be the same ortho whether you use star or hanger? Do you know how long they have been practicing? How many babies they treat a month? A year?

Hi everybody,

Well we are having my daughter's (allysann) head scanned on

Thursday, and she will get

her Hanger band in a week to two weeks after that. I was wondering, Is

there a big difference between the hanger band and Star band? This is

the one my neurosurgeon recommended and the one

we will go with, so I hope I don't regret my decision.

she has plagio & brachy, will the brachy take longer to correct? Will

her head round out with the Hanger band or should i go with the

starband.

Any advice or any other experiences would be appreciated,thanks

no ,i don't know how long the hanger in morgantown ,wv has been in

practice or how many babys they see a month or year .i will ask them

though, thanks .
